Dell partners Redington to strengthen enterprise distribution


New Delhi: Dell today announced its partnership with Redington for the distribution of its enterprise products. The partnership will aim to strengthen Dell’s distribution business strategy launched last month in the Indian market.

The Dell-Redington partnership is established on national distribution framework and will enable smooth availability of Dell enterprise solutions in 33 Indian cities. The enterprise solutions available through Redington are Dell’s server and storage products.

In a statement, S Sridhar, Director & General Manager, Enterprise Solutions Group, Dell India commented, “Our Enterprise solutions have been well received by our customers because of the evident value of open architecture and flexibility of Dell solutions. In order to meet the demand for our solutions we need to ensure they are available any-time anywhere for our customers. Dell has been working very closely with channel partners who are effectively promoting Dell solutions and hence partnering with a distribution partner will catalyze the time to market from conceptualization to implementation. We are happy to join hands with a strong partner like Redington who will give Dell the market opportunity through their national presence and help create customer value.”

The partnership will facilitate new business opportunities for both parties, enabling Redington to access and sell Dell’s world class enterprise solutions portfolio, while Dell will leverage Redington’s wide network of 45 sales/branch offices across the country. Dell will now attain further reach in the Indian market and the move will benefit large number of small and medium enterprises. Redington will now be able to provide Dell’s cost-efficient, high-performing storage and sever products and solutions to enterprise customers in India.
