UST Global ramps up workforce at its Bangalore centre

Bangalore: UST Global, a Technopark, Trivandrum based digital technology services company, announced today that its delivery centre in Bangalore has expanded its workforce to over 2,000 to become the second largest facility of the company globally.

The Bangalore centre commenced its first phase of operations three years earlier. It has been growing consistently since then, delivering domestic and global projects across the semiconductor, hi-tech, and retail sectors with solutions in engineering services, application development, support & maintenance, testing, validation & verification, and analytics.

Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer, UST Global said, “We gained significant traction in the next generation digital services space including mobility, cloud, analytics and cyber security, while maintaining steady growth in the traditional services segment which serves some of the world’s most prestigious technology brands. We will continue to make significant investments in skilling our employees to meet the rapidly changing demands of the IT landscape. With the pace at which we are growing, I expect the Bangalore centre to cross the 3,000 employee mark in the next 8-10 months.”

Sudhansu Panigrahi, Center Head for Bangalore, UST Global said, “The growing presence in Bangalore has been driven by our capability to respond to customer needs faster, while ensuring focus on quality. Continued focus on innovation and our ability to transform businesses with our globally recognized ‘design for happiness’ approach gave additional impetus to our scale.”

UST Global has more than 9,000 of its 15,000 employees across its global delivery centres in India, including Thiruvananthapuram (India headquarters), Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon and Pune.
