Trivandrum: Kerala Technology University (KTU) has selected ICT Academy of Kerala as its implementation partner in providing faculty and staff training to all its affiliated colleges. Through this agreement, ICT Academy will organise regular training programme for faculty and staff members for its affiliated colleges in the State.
The training programme will be segmented under Pedagogical, Leadership, Technical, Soft skills and Social.
“We have been working with ICT Academy on various technology initiatives and they have demonstrated their ability to delivery such large programme with high quality”, said the Kerala Technological University Vice Chancellor, Dr. Kuncheria Issac.
By leveraging its own capability and its Industry partners , and by forging new partnership with Industry partners and premium institutes across the world, ICTAK plans to bring world class learning opportunity to the Engineering faculty fraternity. It also plans to take advantage of latest technology tools and aids in delivering the various training programme.
“Faculty training is an important mandate of ICT Academy and this assignment should provide industry understanding to teachers”, IT Secretary, P H Kurian stated.
“This is a great recognition. We are fully prepared to take on this new responsibility”, said ICT Academy Chairman and the co-founder of Infosys, S D Shibulal.
ICT Academy will reach the target of over 12,000 faculty members across all the Engineering institutions, through direct and e-learning mode for delivering the training programme.
