Verbat expands Trivandrum office, to ramp up workforce

Trivandrum: Verbat Technologies, a global Digital Technology Services company based in Thiruvananthapuram, has expanded their office. The office situated at YMR Junction in the capital city was inaugurated by Martin Schofield and David Callow; Directors of UK based Retail247 Consulting.

Jijo Olassa, CEO of Verbat Technologies; Dev Hariharan, VP – Operations & Finance; other officials and staff were among those present on the occasion.

Interacting with Kerala IT News, Jijo said, “As we gradually build up more partnerships and get new clients, we need more space and this expansion in our existing office would help us add another 30-35 resources to our workforce. We have a strong presence in the UK market and have already built a reputation of being a one stop shop for the Digital Technology needs of Enterprises, particularly around Microsoft, Open Source and Mobile technologies. This expansion would facilitate us in servicing our global clientele from this office.”

“We have also shortlisted some office space inside the Technopark campus and would be signing up that soon. This would mean ramping up our strength to about 100 by the end of this fiscal. We will also be looking at Kochi to have a presence there. Kerala has a tremendous pool of skilled talent and we hope to tap into that”, Jijo added.

Apart from Trivandrum, Verbat Technologies has offices in UK, USA and UAE. The company had announced several partnerships recently, notably with UK’s Retail247, Belgium’s iConec Wave and with Verys and Cigniti Technologies in US. Verbat’s expertise is in delivering Internet and Mobile Solutions to Enterprises, through Agile Development and Application Management methodologies.
