IBS appoints Rajiv Shah as Chief Executive Officer

Tvm: The Technopark Trivandrum based IBS Software Services, a leading provider of new-generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics industry, has announced the appointment of Rajiv Shah as its Chief Executive Officer. He will take responsibility for the operation of IBS’ business worldwide and report to V K Mathews, the Executive Chairman.

Prior to his appointment, Rajiv Shah was with Wipro Technologies based out of Boston, and heading its Securities & Capital Markets’ business as Chief Executive and later its Health Care and Services business unit worldwide reporting to Wipro’s CEO. Rajiv has over 25 years of experience with more than 15 years in senior executive roles managing several businesses globally either as CEO or head of big business units with full P&L and operations responsibilities globally, including EDS (USA and India), CoFuture (A Kerry Packer Joint Venture), Wipro Technologies (USA) and Bharti – Teletech (India). Rajiv served EDS for 14 years, first 10 years in the US and latter 4 years as the CEO of EDS India.
