Flytxt announces Big Data Workshop Series II on ‘Harnessing Hadoop’

Tvm: Following the success of the first Dev2Dev Workshop on Hadoop, Flytxt, the Technopark based technology leader in mobile marketing and advertising, has announced the second edition of the Developer to Developer Big Data Workshop on ‘Harnessing Hadoop for Big Data’ on September 13, 2011 at the Park Centre in Technopark, Trivandrum. The first of its kind workshop on Hadoop for technology enthusiasts and application developers in Kerala was held earlier this year in March.

This workshop is a key for technocrats exploring options to develop Hadoop based applications or even adopt platforms like recommendation engine to suit the business scenario. The session will cover all aspects related to recommendation engines – practical perspectives along with demo and insights into Hadoop clusters for building telcograde applications.

According to Abhay Doshi, Sr. Director – Product & Marketing, Flytxt, this is an exclusive event to discuss and learn the Hadoop ecosystem. Flytxt is probably the only company in Technopark to work extensively on the Hadoop Ecosytem. The company has set up a Hadoop Developer Forum in Kerala for the benefit of the developer community and also the IT companies in Kerala who are in this domain.

Entry is free for this limited seats event but with prior registration. Click here to check out the programme schedule and to register.
