Commodity Online launches new portal, Bullion Street

Kochi: Commodity Online, a leading provider of information, research, software and trading services for investors, has launched a new portal dedicated to bullion. The portal is dedicated to providing news, analysis, market data and research for investors and to serve as a B2B platform for the global bullion industry. The portal was developed by Tranzmedia Netvision, the Kochi based software subsidiary of Commodity Online Group.

The portal was formally launched earlier this month by Jignesh Shah, Vice Chairman, Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) in the presence of Union Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Prof K V Thomas. In his address, Jignesh said that commodities have always brought wealth to the country since ancient times and futures trading in Gold and Silver have enabled traders and importers to effectively hedge their trade against adverse and volatile trends in the market.

George Iype, Managing Director, Commodity Online India said, “India is the leading consumer of Gold and Silver and worldwide interest in investing in precious metals has only increased in recent times due to global economic uncertainties and weak performance of equities and other investment assets. Bullion Street is perhaps, the first portal in India fully dedicated to global bullion industry and is intended to benefit both investors in precious metals as well as the industry through its B2B platforms. We have plans to add several B2B sections that will benefit the jewellers, bullion traders, exporters and the mining industry worldwide”.
