Kerala Public Service Commission introduces ‘one time online’ registration

Tvm: Planning to apply for a Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) job? Now you don’t have to apply every time whenever there is a new vacancy. The Kerala PSC has introduced a new ‘one time registration’ system which allows an applicant to register their details online and the same can be used for all future job applications. This facility was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy at the PSC Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram on March 28, 2012.

Using the ‘one time registration’ system, candidates need to register their profile only once. After registration, a one time physical verification of documents and certificates is required at the PSC office or other place as instructed by PSC. After this, the candidates can respond to any PSC notification through their profile. They can also update their profile anytime, to add any additional qualification they acquire in future.

Candidates who wish to apply for any post notified 2012 onwards, should register their details using the ‘one time registration’ system before applying. Using the user id and password, one can apply for a post, download the hall ticket and also view the examination result. On successful submission of the application for any post, a candidate can see their status in profile as ‘Applied’. The person will also get an SMS if they have provided mobile number. They can take a printout at any time to submit for Receipt, NOC, etc. The ‘one time registration’ system, Thulasi 1.0, has been designed and developed in-house by the PSC staff using free and open source software (FOSS).

PSC chairman K S Radhakrishnan and K Muralidharan MLA were among those present on the occasion. Click here to access the ‘Kerala PSC one time registration’ system.
