NeST becomes SEI Partner for CMMI SCAMPI appraisals


Trivandrum: Network Systems & Technologies (P) Ltd. (NeST) has announced that it has been accepted as a Partner by the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (SEI) based in US. As an SEI Partner, NeST is licensed to provide official SEI services in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). This will greatly benefit the fast growing Software Industry in Kerala.

SEI Partners are trained, evaluated, and selected by the SEI and are the only source of official SEI courses and services from outside the SEI. SEI Partners provide courses, appraisal services, and/or coaching services in one or more of the following areas: Capability Maturity Model Integration, software architecture, software engineering measurement and analysis, and the Team Software Process.

The aim of the transition programme is to provide leadership in the transition of new software engineering technologies to software development companies. As a Transition Partner, NeST is authorized to conduct CMMI SCAMPI appraisals. This will greatly benefit the Software Industry here who can now access to the software engineering capabilities of NeST for pursuing the CMMI appraisal programmes.
