Trivandrum: The Technopark based NeST Software (Network Systems & Technologies), the Software Division of SFO Technologies, a CMMI Level 5 and ISO 9001 company has announced that the company’s Communication Business Unit has been certified for TL 9000, which acknowledges the consistency of the company’s performance in following the software and development service processes and their compliance to stringent requirements based on industry best practices.
Built on ISO 9001 and the eight quality principles, TL 9000 applies specifically to the telecommunications industry, providing customers with added confidence as to the quality of the products and services delivered by them. External auditors from Underwriters Laboratories, one of the world’s renowned certification bodies, visited NeST Software in July and September, 2012 and conducted audit in two phases. Auditors examined the quality systems, including software development processes, documentation practices, and measurement systems followed in the organization
