Eram Scientific unveils new eToilet Mobile App

Trivandrum: Eram Scientific Solutions, the Thiruvananthapuram based manufacturers of Electronic Toilets in India, has unveiled a new eToilet Mobile App for electronic Toilets in India. The app was launched as part of establishing a new Connected eToilet Infrastructure (CeTI) in the Country on the occasion of the World Toilet Day celebrations on November 19.

The eToilet App is freely downloadable for Android users from the Google Play Store. Its unique features include locating the nearest eToilets via Map and Address Listings, understanding the mode of operations, mode of access and information on facilities such as napkin vending machine, incinerator etc., and sharing feedback on the user experience of eToilet along with image uploading. Through this App, the public can also suggest new places for eToilets, if it’s not available there.

Leveraging the GPRS based tracking facility of the eToilets, Eram has developed a unique concept of CeTI, which has been a distinguishing feature of public eToilets unlike its conventional counterparts. Till now, provided information on the performance of eToilets with individual login access to Clients such a Municipal Corporations, Govt. Agencies etc. It provides a host of real-time data on the performance of eToilets like number of usages, timestamp of usages, number of coins collected, water low indication, flush counts, complaint registration, and report generation along with graphical representation of these data. With the launch of the eToilet Mobile App, the benefits will trickle down to the general public more easily through their smart devices.

According to Anvar Sadath K, CEO, Eram Scientific Solutions, the eToilet App and CeTI are unique attempts to bring in the novel technology concepts like Internet of Things, Big Data etc. for revolutionizing the sanitation sector in the Country. Even when developed countries are yet to explore the opportunities in this line, Eram has modelled CeTI with the Australian Toilet Map. So far, the Chennai Corporation has the most number of Connected eToilets (150+ numbers) in the Country.

Eram Scientific has currently set up over 1300 eToilets across 18 States in India, and has won 39+ national and international awards. Eram seeks the support and feedback from users and administrators to better the App.
