Trivandrum: The Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, along with Elets Technomedia, is organizing Digital India Knowledge Exchange Summit 2016 on February 19 & 20, 2016 at Kovalam.
Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy is expected to inaugurate the Digital India Knowledge Exchange Summit which will see participation of government officials, thought leaders, industry experts and other eminent stakeholders from across the country.
According to a press note from the Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM), the host partner for the event, the Digital India Knowledge Exchange Summit is a platform to the key stakeholders to interact on important topics around e-Governance and Digital infrastructure and arrive on solutions to enlarge the IT sector as well as explore maximum potential of the project undertaken for Digital India. The event will be unfolded in three parts – a two day conference, awards ceremony and an exhibition.
The objective of the conclave is to bring the Government, industry experts, academia, related to e-Governance and the stakeholders on a common platform to brainstorm on the best practices and way ahead in the areas of e-Governance and the challenges in Digital Infrastructure, which can help the common man to be digital literate and get the government services transparently and effectively.
K Mohammed Y Safirulla IAS, Director, KSITM said, “This is one of the biggest national events on e-Governance in India where officials and delegates from across the country will take part in it.”
Minister for Industries & IT, Shri P K Kunhalikutty and Jiji Thomson IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Kerala; are among others expected to attend the inaugural session.
