Blaupunkt forays into mobile phone accessories segment with India launch


New Delhi: Blaupunkt, the Germany-based consumer lifestyle and technology brand, today announced entry into the mobile phone accessories segment. India is the first country where Blaupunkt mobile phone accessories would be launched globally.

The future plans include launching Blaupunkt smart phones, smart watches and phablets in the Indian markets. New Delhi based Vidur and Co., one of India’s leading IT and telecom products distributors, will launch above Blaupunkt branded products through an exclusive brand licensing agreement.

To begin with Blaupunkt’s mobile phone accessories will be available in categories like wire earphones, Bluetooth earphones, wired headphones, power banks, data and charging cables, car chargers, wall-mount chargers, wireless charging dock etc. ‘

Blau Punkt, German for ‘Blue Dot’, has been a symbol` of quality and excellence for over 90 years. The brand promises the same qualities in its mobile phone accessories. Blaupunkt would be the first brand to offer a full range of mobile accessories – from data cables, earphones, phone chargers to power banks etc. Consumers will now have the option to buy the best in class German-quality mobile accessories at India-relevant pricing. Blaupunkt aims to capture the leadership position in this segment within a short span of time. Blaupunkt would also be the first mobile phone accessories brand to operate a dedicated after-sales customer service centre in India, ensuring that the consumer experience is never compromised.
