Trivandrum: Livares Technologies, a Thiruvananthapuram based start-up, has launched M-Governance Kerala, an android mobile application that covers information on Kerala Government’s various Departments.
The objective of the project is to integrate the advancements in mobile technology with various departments to create cost effective, efficient and round the clock government information systems. The Kerala M-Governance system is integrated to a mobile application which is so designed to include all the services and departments under Government of Kerala. Users can download the application for free from goo.gl/Jv7f8.
M-Governance Kerala has a user friendly layout which helps the users to easily access the information quickly. Users can easily select the required service under a specific department and they can also initiate a query regarding the specific service under the specific department by simply giving the required details (registration no, file number etc) and click the submit button. The system initiates an SMS which is send to ‘537252’ in predefined format. The system is very much user friendly and the user doesn’t have to worry about SMS formats, numbers etc.
“We are very delighted to introduce this mobile application. The application is designed in a way to provide public a user friendly UI which ease the process and helps the public to enjoy the facilities provided by the Government of Kerala. This move can revolutionize m-Governance in Kerala. Livares believes that the application will bridge the gap between the system and the public. We have got good support from the Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM) and MobME for this project. We have certain other projects also in pipeline for the benefit of public,” said Aneesh Chandran, COO, Livares Technologies.
“KSITM is in the process of creating an apps store to make available applications which support various e-governance initiatives in the state. The first application in this regard developed by Livares. This initiative supports the upcoming companies in Technopark as well as the citizens alike. I am sure that this mobile application will serve its purpose righteously,” said Dr. Jayasankar Prasad, Director, KSITM.
Livares Technologies is a start-up incubated at Technopark (TBI) and Startup Village, Kochi.
