New Delhi: The Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has launched the Startup India Virtual Hub, an online platform for all stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India to discover, connect and engage with each other.
Trivandrum: The Kerala Government and the Office of Information & Communication Technology, United Nations will soon join hands to set up the country’s first UN Technology Innovation Lab (UNTIL) in Kerala to jointly work towards developing programmes in pursuit of achieving the sustainable development goals.
Trivandrum: The Kerala Government would come out with a framework for funding of startups as part of the Startup Policy which will be announced within a few months along with the new IT Policy. All these initiatives would give a big boost to the startup ecosystem in the State.
Trivandrum: Startups should develop apps for society’s benefit and this would help them flourish. Well, that would be the mantra for success for Start-ups in Kerala, according to M Sivasankar IAS, IT Secretary, Government of Kerala. He gave this advice to start-ups while addressing the ‘Seeding Kerala’ event organised by the Kerala Startup Mission, with support from Lets Venture and Konglo Ventures.
Kochi: Zybo Tracking Solutions, a start-up incubated at the business incubation centre of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) at Kochi, has received a Foreign Equity Investment from Netherlands-based company called Grasshoppers. The funding will help the company to develop and market the application ‘Trackbizz’, which has been developed and is now targeting Indian SME market.
