

Tvm: The 26th National Student Convention of the Computer Society of India got off to a colourful start at the Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology in Trivandrum with the inauguration by Capt. Raghu Raman, Head, National Intelligence Grid, Government of India. About 150 students from 24 colleges across the country were present for the inaugural session of the convention being held from September 2-4, 2010. The theme for this year’s convention is IT for Nation Development.

Trivandrum to host CSI National Student Convention
Tvm: The Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology at Trivandrum is all set to host the 26 edition of the National Student Convention being organised by the Computer Society of India, Trivandrum Chapter from September 2-4, 2010. The theme for this year’s convention is IT for Nation Development. Capt. Raghu Raman, Head, National Intelligence Grid, Govt. of India will inaugurate the convention at a function to be presided by M D Agrawal, Vice President, Computer Society of India.
Microsoft User Group DevCon 2010 @Tvm this weekend
Tvm: The Kerala Microsoft Users Group (K-MUG) will be organising the second part of their Developers Conference, DevCon 2010 on September 04, 2010 at the Technopark in Trivandrum. Billed as the largest tech event in Kerala, DevCon 2010 would see about 300 hardcore techies converging in Technopark for the event. The first part was held on July 03, 2010.

Aceware Technologies launch Android training in Kerala
Tvm: Trivandrum based Aceware Technologies, a software service provider, has announced the launch of an Android training course. This course is targeted at Engineering graduates who want to excel in the field of Mobile Application Development. According to a release, this is the first time that any Android training course is being offered in Kerala.
Sainik School Tvm requires IT instructor
Tvm: The Sainik School at Kazhakoottam in Trivandrum District has invited applications for the post of a Computer Science teacher on adhoc basis to teach up to plus 2 levels (CBSE syllabus). Applicants should be a B.Tech in Computer Science or MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science. Proficiency in Games and extra curricular activities will be an added advantage.
