Diebold partners Infosys & Oracle for business transformation

Bangalore: In an effort to transform and streamline its service, supply chain management and financial operations processes, Diebold Incorporated, a global leader in providing innovative self-service technology, security systems and related services, has partnered with Infosys and Oracle to deploy market leading enterprise applications.

Diebold has more than 10 years of Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) experience, but has partnered with Infosys over the past 18 months to strategize, mobilize and transform its global information technology (IT) delivery.

By deploying Oracle’s enterprise applications, Diebold will simplify and standardize its global processes to create a more robust and customer-centric enterprise. The enterprise applications (Oracle R12 E-business suite and Siebel Field Service) will drive internal efficiencies and enable an integrated real-time view of Diebold’s global cross-functional processes and data.

Kris Gopalakrishnan, Co-founder & Executive Vice Chairman, Infosys said, “Manufacturers worldwide are restructuring their operations and building services-based business models – Diebold showed great fortitude to achieve this reinvention. We are thrilled to be chosen to join forces with Diebold and believe that the company will see great returns in the near future as these applications take root in Diebold’s operations.”

Mark Hurd, President, Oracle said, “We enjoy a longstanding partnership with Diebold, and we are excited to be working with Andy, his team, and Infosys. Together, we are delivering a technology-driven transformation that takes full advantage of the industry-leading Oracle technology stack.”

Over the next two years, it is our goal to build a world-class IT infrastructure that provides comprehensive and analytical data, necessary to support our growing business operations as we continue to transform to a services-led organization.”

“Infosys is committed to leveraging its deep capabilities with Oracle enterprise applications, and its expertise in the consulting and systems integration space, to help Diebold accelerate its transformation to a services-led organization,” said Sanjay Jalona, Sr. VP & Global Head – Manufacturing & Engineering services, Infosys. “This will further strengthen the partnership between our companies.”
