IPSR second time lucky at RedHat Awards


Kottayam: IPSR Solutions has bagged the RedHat Asia – Pacific International Award consecutively for the second time. Mr. Mendus Jacob, CEO & CMD, IPSR received the award from Mr. Gery Messer, CEO (Asia – Pacific & Japan), RedHat at the RedHat Asia – Pacific Conference held in Singapore recently. IPSR won the Asia – Pacific International Award 2009 in the field of Learning Services (Redhat Linux).

“This award would be considered as the International community’s acceptance for IPSR”, said Mendus Jacob. IPSR is celebrating its 10th year of operations, this award adds another feather to their cap and provides them inspiration to venture into new areas beneficial to the student community.

IPSR Solutions is a software services company with its corporate office in Kottayam and operations at Kochi and Kozhikode with a focus on the Small & Medium Business Segment. According to a release from the company, IPSR has the credit of producing the largest number of RHCE’s with a world record passout percentage. Every year IPSR gets a lot of students from Euorpe, Africa and Middle – East to earn their RedHat Certifications. As part of their social project, IPSR had launched Teen Cyber Project, a free Linux orientation programme for school students. As a result of which, IPSR was able to produce the World’s First Youngest RHCE. IPSR has also got all the RedHat GLS National Awards from 2004 to 2008.
