Trivandrum: Cybosol, an IT services provider initiated by eleven young NRI entrepreneurs from Kerala in Saudi Arabia, marked the launch of its Indian operations today with the opening of its Global Technology and Excellence centre in Thiruvananthapuram.
Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy formally inaugurated the centre located at the Yamuna building in the Technopark Phase III Campus in the presence of the Minister for Industries & IT, Shri P K Kunhalikutty and the Company officials.
In his address, the Chief Minister remarked that the trend among the young generation now is to increasingly think of starting their own enterprise rather than seeking a government job or go abroad after getting a work visa. “This was a welcome sign for the State and speaks volumes about the entrepreneurial spirit of the youngsters”, he added.
In his presidential address, the IT Minister said that ventures such as Cybosol shows that people who work outside India are willing to bring back their talents and skills to their homeland. “The government aims to develop the IT sector in Kerala and will provide all the required facilities to these entrepreneurs.”
Aboobacker Kutty, Chairman of Cybosol said, “This centre serves two purposes. Firstly, it supports deliveries as Cybosol extends its reach into global markets, and secondly it demonstrates Cybosol’s commitment to the homeland.”
