Kochi: iBall in partnership with Microsoft India has launched its first PC-on-a-stick device, dubbed Splendo. Powered by an Intel Atom CPU, iBall Splendo is for users looking for a basic Windows PC.
The innovative iBall Splendo PC-on-Stick that could convert any HDMI enabled television into a personal computer or a smart TV. iBall Splendo will be functional as you plug it into the HDMI input of the television. It works on Windows 8.1 operating system and comes ready with a free upgrade to Windows 10.
The small device is powered by Intel Atom Z3735F processor, a powerful Quad core processor clocked at 1.83 GHz with 2GB RAM. It has a 32 GB built in storage that can be expandable up to 64 GB through MicroSD Slot. With the Splendo PC-on-Stick, you can get 15 GB OneDrive cloud storage free.
The device is equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB OTG function. It can be connected to projectors and LED monitors via HDMI port. For a full fledged Windows PC experience, consumers can utilize the bundled offer with free wireless deskset – iBall Dusky Duo Keyboard plus mouse.
The box consists of iBall Splendo PC-on-stick, wireless mouse and keyboard, a USB wall adapter and the cables, one HDMI extension cord, USB extender dongle and the power cable. You also get a set of two AAA batteries to power up the bundled accessories.
The retail price for Splendo is Rs. 8,999. iBall noted that Splendo will be a revolutionary device with high-end technology that help work, play and surf with ease.
