Kerala Adobe Users Group takes shape


Kochi: The first ever Adobe user group meet in Kerala started off in an informal way at Kochi on Saturday, December 12, 2009. The idea of this initial meet was to measure the attendance and support of the members as a bench mark to plan ahead for future meet-ups.


Vipin Chandran, a senior Adobe specialist led the discussions on several topics like web services, Flex 4, Cold fusion Builder, etc. He shared his experience on Adobe software and gave tips regarding other User groups and meetings which he had known in his long years of industry experience.


Discussions were held about planning the next meeting more officially with dedicated sessions and support infrastructure. Talks were also held for steps to be taken to spread the awareness about the user group among other IT companies and institutions and taking it to the next level in 2010. Some Adobe goodies were also distributed to the SEO specialists, PHP expert, award winning Artists, cold fusion experts, Flex and flash developers attended the meet.


It was also decided to hold the next user group meet in Kochi. This event was organised by Juwal Bose, Director of Csharks and several employees of Toobler, a web services company based in Kochi.
