Trivandrum to host Kerala Google Technology UG launch

Tvm: Google fans across God’s own country will have a chance to come together with the launch of the Kerala Google Technology Users Group (GTUG). The first ever Kerala GTUG meet will be held on April 10, 2010 at the Technopark in Trivandrum.

The Kerala GTUG has been founded by Sreejumon, an Architect with Nokia R & D Centre at Bangalore. The user group meet aims to bring together people who are using or want to learn more about developing applications using various Google technologies. The event also provides them with a platform to network and share knowledge while increasing contacts within the industry.

Apart from the launch of the Kerala GTUG, the day long event will have sessions by Anash Oommen, Developer (Programs Engineer) Google, among others, on various topics like Chrome Extension APIs, Orkut/OpenSocial APIs, Chrome OS, tools for the web developers and BigTable – the backend behind the Google Services.

Participants can also expect goodies from Google. For registration and other details about the event, visit the Kerala GTUG website.
