Accentia to venture into LPO domain


Tvm: Technopark based Accentia Technologies, a leading Healthcare Receivables Cycle Management (HRCM) Company offering managed services in HRCM, e-publishing and Data processing / warehousing has announced its decision to enter into Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) domain, initially through acquisitions of companies from India with US, UK and Canada based clients.

Pradeep Viswambharan, CEO, Accentia said, “We are planning to create 3500 more employment opportunities in the next 18 months. This would include around 500 law school graduates for its Legal Process Outsourcing division.” The company is in advanced stages of negotiations with a few established LPO Companies and is confident of acquiring at least a couple of them in the next few weeks.

This acquisition will spearhead Accentia as the only major player having BPO operations in both the Healthcare and Legal space. “Once we have a foothold in this industry, we plan to further tap the markets in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and South Africa, and this foray will enable the company to more than double its turnover in the next two years”, he added.

Worldwide Accentia Technologies has units in Portland, Oregon (US); Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (US); New Jersey (US) and RAK (UAE). In India apart from Trivandrum and Kochi in Kerala, Accentia operates out of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Bhubaneswar. Accentia will also be starting BPOs in the two Technolodges being setup by Kerala Government in Kollam District.
