Chennai: Barry Wehmiller International Resources in partnership with Autodesk has invited applications from Engineering Students across South India to showcase their innovative design capabilities for its annual manufacturing design challenge, DesignACE 2010.
Second year in the running, the objective of DesignACE is to identify the Engineering and Design Skills in Engineering students and also test their conceptual skills, creativity and proficiency in using CAD tools. The winners, in addition to cash prizes (First Prize – Rs.30, 000/-) will be sponsored to participate in the Autodesk APAC Panorama Design Contest in Malaysia this year.
The students who meet the eligibility criteria (should have completed second year of course) can participate in DesignACE 2010 by submitting any Innovative Design with a short write-up for short listing procedure on or before August 16th. The entries received will be judged on parameters of depth and clarity of thinking, innovation and design capability.
