Tvm: Network Systems and Technologies Pvt. Ltd (NeST) – a part of NeST Group of Companies, has announced that its software division at Technopark, Trivandrum has been successfully appraised at CMMI-Dev v1.2 Maturity Level 5.
CMMI is the most effective model currently available for improving the process of a software development organization. Being appraised at Maturity Level 5 is indicative of the capability of the organization to statistically evaluate the performance of its processes and ensure control and continual improvement in the processes. This quantitative control over the performance of processes makes it possible to deliver products of higher quality within defined deadlines.
Rajarshi Das, the High Maturity Lead Appraiser from KPMG, who performed the appraisal, commented, “The understanding exhibited by NeST, both by its Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) and QA as well as by the practitioners, of the requirements of higher maturity levels of operation and statistical analysis, is remarkable.”
According to a release, at NeST, quality has always been a way of life, with continual allegiance to quality standards like ISO 9001, Automotive SPICE, CMMI® and the recent accreditation by Belgium based ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)
