TiE and Technopark TBI tie up to promote SMEs


Tvm: The Technopark Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI) and the Kerala Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE Kerala) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the promotion and development of Small and Medium Companies situated in Kerala. The MoU was signed between Mervin Alexander, Chairman, T-TBI (CEO, Technopark) and Murali Gopalan, President, TiE Kerala (Senior VP, UST Global) at in Technopark today.

Speaking on the occasion, Mervin said, “With 101 companies in incubation we expect the TiE Kerala brand to bring in more visibility to our incubatees and programmes”. In his speech, Murali said, “Through this association we look forward to working closely with T-TBI to interconnect its incubatees with the vast business network and mentors pool of TiE”

T-TBI offers its incubation companies fully furnished plug and play office space, access to networks, and business support services, mentoring, seed funding & consultancy services.

The Kerala Chapter of ‘TiE Kerala’ (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a not-for-profit body which acts as a networking platform of entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship and works out of Kochi. TiE Kerala provides a platform for mentoring, networking & education, to budding entrepreneurs & professionals. The activities of TiE Kerala Chapter range from organising workshops on both hard and soft skills to facilitating venture investment by providing a platform for entrepreneurs and VC funds to network.
