Tvm: Malayalam Wikipedia, the Malayalam language edition of Wikipedia, a free and publicly editable online encyclopaedia, has crossed the 10 lakhs (1 million) edits milestone on January 22, 2011. Malayalam Wikipedia is the first Indian language Wikipedia to cross this milestone.

With almost 250 active editors, the Malayalam Wiki community continues to be one of the most active Indian Wiki communities. Among Wikipedias with at least 10,000 articles, the Malayalam Wikipedia has the 2nd largest page depth following the English Wikipedia. The project is also the leading Wikipedia among other South East Asian language Wikipedias in page depth, average edits per page, number of active users, and number of uploaded images. Malayalam Wikipedia was launched on December 21, 2002 and the mobile version was launched in February 2010.
