Tvm: Italy’s Cargoitalia has entered into a contract with the Technopark based IBS for implementing its cargo management solution, iCargo. The implementation is set to be completed by July.
The solution will then manage the entire freight movement of this all-cargo carrier including core cargo operations from quotes and bookings through capacity & revenue management, track & trace, accounting, proof of deliveries and irregularity reports to ULD management. iCargo will significantly enhance the airline’s efficiency by providing optimum customer service in the cargo movement space.
In a release, Roberto Gilardoni, Commercial Director, Cargoitalia said, “A state of the art IT system is fundamental to our continuing success, and the selection of iCargo follows a lengthy and detailed study and evaluation. We are very excited about the benefits that the new system will bring to our business”.
