Schogini announces Inventor’s summer camp for school kids

Tvm: Technopark based Schogini Systems has announced a ten day electronics camp for school students during the summer vacation. The camp is planned to initiate school children into practical electronics. The camp to be held in their city office will commence on April 02, 2012. Schogini Systems had recently announced its foray into the artificial intelligence gaming industry with games for iPhones and iPads.

According to Gayatri S Ajith, CEO, Schogini Systems, “This is the first time we are offering an ‘Inventors Summar Camp in Electronics’ for students. The idea is to nurture innovation and experimentation for the budding inventors. Catch them young!”

Sreeprakash Neelakantan, Founder & MD, Schogini Systems said, “We want to safely introduce electronics and embedded systems to the young ones. There is no soldering or use of electric power involved. We want to see these budding inventors be able to run their hand coded programmes to interact with the physical world. This is the best way to learn programming since the results are physical. This camp comes with fully functional micro-controller kit with several accessories to experiment with and students can keep it to continue their experimentations.”

There is a fee of Rs.5,500 for the 30 hours course, which is inclusive of the kit cost. Students over the age of 12 with a laptop can check out for more details and registration.

Founded by Sreeprakash in 1997 in Trivandrum, Schogini Systems was a 100% Export Oriented Unit and had recently moved into the Leela Infopark in Technopark campus. The company plans to be 1,000 strong in the next two years with a focus on Augmented Reality (AR) and Image Processing.
