Tvm: The Commissionerate for Government Examinations in Kerala or the Pareeksha Bhavan, as it is more popularly known, is all set to launch an online verification facility in two weeks to enable various Government Departments to cross check the details of the students. This was announced by the Education Minister Shri P K Abu Rabb after declaring the SSLC results in Thiruvananthapuram on April 26, 2012.
The Minister said that the details of all students who passed the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination from 2001 will be uploaded on the website and these will be made available for online verification to the Passport Office, NORKA, PSC or any other Government Department who want to check the authenticity of details and certificates submitted by applicants. The departments will be given unique username and passwords so that the facility is not misused. “We hope the misconduct involving fake birth certificates, date of birth, educational qualifications, marks in qualifying examinations or any other personal detail can be reduced to a large extent using this facility”, he added.
Meanwhile, the process of applying for revaluation, photocopy and scrutiny of answer papers of the SSLC examination will be done online. Headmasters of high schools can access the revaluation link on the Pareeksha Bhavan website and login with the school code. The online process of applying for revaluation, photocopy and scrutiny of answer scripts is expected to speed up the process while reducing the paperwork for school administrators.
The Minister also announced that the admissions to the first year Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) courses will be done online from this year. The prospectus and the application forms for 2012-13 admissions will be available for download on the VHSW website (vhscap.kerala.gov.in) from May 07.
