The Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC) is the implementing agency for this scheme.

An automatic system, where in there will be cyclical repetition of the subsequent processes of scrutiny, selection, training and funding every two months, has also been implemented. Under the new system-based registration system, the aspirants are to register themselves online through the KFC website, take a print out of the registration form and submit to the Secretary of the local body in which the unit is proposed for certification and forwarding to the nearest Branch of KFC. All subsequent developments with regard to the registration will be intimated to the candidates through automatic SMS and they can also ascertain the status of their registration online through the website of KFC.

The implementation of KSSEDM has reached the stage of providing funds, which according to many experts is insurmountable. The first phase of registrations, scrutiny, selection and training has seen the emergence of 231 enterprises, associating 571 prospective entrepreneurs, which are in the process of being implemented. All major Banks in the State like Punjab National Bank (PNB), Canara Bank and State Banks of Travancore are in advanced stages in the process of evolving schemes for funding the enterprises under KSSEDM.

According to Yogesh Gupta IPS, CMD, KFC, “With the active support of the Branches of KFC, applications of nearly 150 enterprises are being processed in various Districts and it is expected that we will be able to give sanction / disbursement to maximum number of enterprises. With the Mission having successfully crossed the last major hurdle in the process of realizing the dream of a ‘Vibrant Industrial Kerala’, the process of enabling fulfillment of aspirations of large number of educated youth of the State is being set in motion.”
