ADATA launches ultra slim external drives in Kerala

Kochi: Taiwan based Technology Company ADATA has launched the world’s first 8.9 mm ultra slim external drive in Kerala. ADATA also unveil a military-grade shockproof and waterproof external hard disk. The latest products from ADATA, coded HD710 for the shock and waterproof external hard drive and HE720 for the ultra-slim hard drive is a wave of new technology in the Indian market, and specially so in Kerala.

“These are innovations of the modern age. In an ever-shrinking world, memory expands. For people on the go, this is the definitive memory solution. There is always demand for better products. With the shock and water proof drive, you can be sure that your data is most secure even in the harshest of environments, or the roughest handling. Data loss is very common in external hard disk due to drop and water.  The user need not worry too much about shaking the drive while in use, as they used to before,” said Sudip De, Vice President, ADATA Technology India.

ADATA has appointed Aldous Glare Trade & Exports as its exclusive South India distributor. “We always had customers demanding more durable and tough disk drives. Also, the slim size of the new external disk drive will also find much appreciation. I think the market will readily lap up these products. Eitherway, we are setting the benchmark for these kind of products on a global scale,” said George Thomas, CEO, Aldous Glare Trade & Exports.

ADATA has won many of the most recognized international awards including the National Silver Award of Excellence in Taiwan, Japan’s G-MARK (Good Design Award), CES Innovations Award in the US, the iF Design award, and the red dot design award in Germany.

Founded in 1995, the Kochi based Aldous Glare is one of the industry’s top computer and computer peripherals wholesalers with branches in Trivandrum and Kozhikode, among other places.
