Trivandrum: The Technopark based Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K) is conducting two short term courses on Python Programming and Cyber Security in May, 2016.
According to a press release from IIITM-K, the one-week short course on ‘Python Programming’ will be held during May 2-6. Python programming course covers the basics of Python like data-types, statements, syntax, functions etc. Once the foundation is laid, it covers more advanced topics of python programming like using database connectivity, web programming, etc. After successful completion of the course, the participants will have a strong foundation of Python programming and it will enable them to use Python programs in their interested domains. The participation fee is Rs. 6,500/- + applicable service tax.
The one-week short course on ‘Secure IT User Training’ will be held during May 9-13. The course is to provide participants knowledge and skills to protect their information assets. It is a security awareness course intended for academic and administrative staffs of schools and colleges, staffs of Government departments, employees from companies and fresh graduates. The participation fee is Rs. 6,500/- + applicable service tax.
The venue for the courses is at the IIITM-K inside the Technopark Campus. Detailed information on the courses is available at iiitmk.ac.in. The course is intended for Government employees, academia, industries and anyone interested in Python programming.
