ICT Academy of Kerala to host International Conclave on June 24-25


Trivandrum: The ICT Academy of Kerala is organising an International Conclave (ICSET-2016) on the theme ‘Shifting Sands – Insight Driven India’, on June 24 & 25, 2016 in Thiruvananthapuram. Academicians from Universities in Singapore, Netherlands and Australia; Industrial experts from TCS, Infosys, Oracle; Senior Govt. Officials are expected to speak and deliberate on areas pertaining to teachers, students and parents.

Kerala Governor Justice (Retd.) P Sathasivam will inaugurate the conference, to be held at the Park Centre in Technopark campus, on June 24. Minister for Education, Prof. C Raveendranath will be the chief guest for the valedictory function on June 25. Over 300 participants from various engineering and science institutes are expected to participate in the conference.

Technical sessions, panel discussions, interaction with faculty members on the topic ‘Crossroads of New Generation Behaviours and New Technology’, interaction with parents on ‘Balancing Conventional Wisdom with Modern Attitude’, and interaction with students on ‘Charting your Journey of purpose’ will be some of the highlights of the conclave. Paper presentation by faculty members from various universities and colleges will also happen parallel to the technical sessions.

S D Shibulal, co-founder, Infosys and now Chairman, ICTAK; and Damian Haas, Regional Director, Oracle Academy Asia Pacific and Japan; Anil Warrier, Director & Head – Talent Acquisition, SAP, are among those expected to participate in the two day event.
