Kochi: Zybo Tracking Solutions, a start-up incubated at the business incubation centre of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) at Kochi, has received a Foreign Equity Investment from Netherlands-based company called Grasshoppers. The funding will help the company to develop and market the application ‘Trackbizz’, which has been developed and is now targeting Indian SME market.
Alex Wijnen, Director of Grasshoppers and Sunil P Johny, CEO of Zybo Tracking Solutions signed the MoU in the presence of Dr M Beena IAS, MD of KSIDC, and S R Nair, MD of Mentorguru; at a function held here today.
Trackbizz, is a cost effective field force automation system which will make it easier for the managers to track their field force and manage their field activities on real time. It will help the users with remote attendance, location tracking, expense tracking, task management, order notes, lead list, work reports, and all other business related information.
With Trackbizz, sales and service companies can automate their field operations to increase revenue by reducing their operation costs and thereby propelling their business to next level with high productivity in just 30 days. Trackbizz, available on Google Play Store, enables SMEs to leverage the advantages of mobility and cloud technologies at Rs. 399/- per user per month.
In her comments, Dr Beena said that KSIDC has sanctioned Rs.6.23 crores as seed fund assistance to 31 innovative start-ups in Kerala and another 11 proposals are in the pipeline. “Currently 15 start-ups are incubated at the Business Incubation Centre at Infopark, Kochi. Six have graduated and moved out into larger spaces.”
Meanwhile, KSIDC has started its second incubation centre named Startup Zone at Inkel Tower II, Angamaly. The 5,000 sq.ft. facility will be mainly focussed on start-ups in areas other than IT. KSIDC is planning to open its third incubator at UL Cyberpark, Kozhikode.
