Trivandrum: Public Sector Telecom service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will give an impetus to its Enterprise Business segment in Kerala. In an effort towards this goal, an Enterprise Business Customer Meet was organised by the BSNL Kerala Telecommunication Circle in Thiruvananthapuram on August 18, 2017.
In his address, Dr P T Mathew, CGM, BSNL Kerala Circle said, “BSNL is a total service provider of both wired and wireless solutions. We are committed to providing any telecommunication solution as per the request of an organisation. We are now in a position to offer tailor made solutions. We hope organisations in Kerala, both in the Government sector and private sector, would utilise this opportunity to get the best of our services at economical rates.”
Jyothi Sankar S, GM (EB) gave a detailed presentation on the services available for the Enterprise Business segment like MPLS Services, Enterprise Voice & Mobility, Enterprise Broadband, Enterprise Data Services, Internet Data Centre Services (IDC), FTTH, VSAT, VPNoBB, Virtual PABX, etc. He mentioned that BSNL is the leading in Internet Leased Lines and dedicated Leased Line networks.
Earlier in his opening remarks, K Kulanthaivel, PGM (Finance) observed that despite the severe competition and tariff reduction by private telecom operators, BSNL in Kerala has managed to add new customers. This shows the trust that the customers in Kerala have in a public sector service provider. BSNL Kerala Circle is the highest revenue earner among other circles in India.”
Presentations by System Integrators and Channel Partners on Multicasting TV Signals, Networked Video Surveillance projects, Shared Video Conferencing solutions and Hosted Video Conferencing & Video Surveillance solutions, and an interactive session were also held as part of the meet.
Representatives from various government organisations like Doordarshan, KSEB, RTO, Kerala State IT Mission, and different Departments participated in the Enterprise Business Customer Meet. All senior officers of BSNL (Administrative, Technical and Marketing) were also among those present on the occasion.
